Let the Good Times Roll | After swapping vows, a Mount Pleasant pair celebrates with dinner, dancing, and some putting practice

First Baptist Church of Charleston & Harborside East

On a crisp November day last year, Mount Pleasant residents Jena Clem and Todd Boring exchanged vows in a gorgeous evening ceremony at First Baptist Church downtown. Afterward, the celebration moved across the Ravenel Bridge to Harborside East where Fini Events had erected a sailcloth tent on the patio overlooking the glittering Charleston skyline. Crystal chandeliers hung above banquet tables lined with black iron chairs and topped with sweet arrangements of hydrangea and blush roses creating an intimate, romantic atmosphere. Over-the-top details included a monogrammed dance floor, a dessert table boasting three cakes and two macaroon towers, and even a custom-made putting green sporting a flag with the couple’s wedding monogram on it. Personal touches with a big dose of fun? Sounds like a happy start to this local pair’s happily ever after, indeed.
