Katherine Rogers & Alexander Weaver
April 12, 2014 Runnymede Plantation
You’d expect über-stylish Beverly Hills residents Katherine and Alexander to depart their Big Day in a luxe limo but they instead opted for his dad’s Land Rover. “Alexander and I share a modern and rustic aesthetic—clean lines with a masculine feel,” says Katherine, who planned their nuptials six years after meeting Alexander while both were at Furman University. Eucalyptus added a verdant vibe to the day, while a cake courtesy of Ben’s grandmother (a professional baker) and a stationery suite designed by the bride upped the sentimental value. Add innovative menu elements like a Southern antipasto (personal chef Katherine curated that station), and guests were delighted. “We wanted the night to be elegant without being too stiff,” she says. Done and done!
