Pink ’n’ Blue | Cailla Fleming & Bill Brehmer, October 10, 2010, Magnolia Plantation & Gardens

Cailla Fleming first spotted Bill Brehmer as he was walking across Charleston’s MUSC campus. They started dating soon after, and three years later, Bill popped the question. Although they had moved to Charlottesville, Virginia, for Bill’s residency by that point, there was no doubt that they would exchange vows in Charleston, Cailla says since she craved a “vintage Southern wedding with lots of music, good food...and plenty of beverages!”  The pair chose Magnolia Plantation & Gardens for the location and A Charleston Event & Bridal Library to fashion a day around electric pink and peacock blue—the bride’s favorite colors—accented with graceful touches of antique ivory lace.  “The day definitely reflected the Southern heritage our relationship is rooted in,” says Cailla, “and adding the fun tones made the whole setting pop.”
