Vintage & Violet | Ashley Ward & John Muller, Jr.; November 22, 2009, Boone Hall Plantation

It takes a special sort of couple to crave a vintage-flavored wedding drenched in crimson and violet, but that’s how Ashley Ward and John Muller Jr. roll. With the guidance of Ashley’s mom, Sabrina Ward (owner of Eventa Bella Charleston), the help of sister Meghan, and John’s mother, Jonny, the crew offset the rustic backdrop of Boone Hall’s Cotton Dock with red and purple in the form of elegantly draped curtains; brocade accent pillows; silk drum shades; candles; and flowers. Says Ashley, “The beautiful early sunset, glowing candlelight, warm fire, and fun personal touches gave way to a spectacular setting.”
