Tea Party | Jackie Hall & Tyler Robinson; July 11, 2009, Charleston Tea Plantation, Wadmalaw Island

Jackie first met Tyler when the two horse lovers were carriage drivers in downtown Charleston. That initial meeting led to their rustic-chic wedding six years later at the Charleston Tea Plantation on Wadmalaw Island, where Jackie (whose dad owns the tea farm) grew up. The bride’s sister Jamie Fernandez—an interior designer by trade—oversaw the event, which centered around tea-leaf greens and tea-stained browns, featured willow chandeliers and grapevine swags in the reception tent, and thoroughly celebrated the location’s farm-feel. Out of Hand paired white roses with curly willow sticks for lush arrangements, and bouquets of coffee berry, thistles, and tea leaves filled vintage silver vessels placed in clusters atop tables. Jackie, of 42pressed.com, fashioned stationery and signage that bore a tip-of-the-hat to horses. “Everything was perfect,” says Jackie. “And it never would have been the same without this place.”
