“Many brides are tired of the slip-ups that can accompany strapless gowns,” says Jodi Moylan of White on Daniel Island. “Spaghetti straps give the bare-shoulder look brides love and lend a little support where needed,” she explains. Some options, like those designer Hayley Paige employed above, go beyond simple utility and become modern embellishments. More traditional versions are simple and err toward informal, while beaded and embroidered varieties give a more formal air.
