When model Celeste Green got engaged, photographer Anne Rhett and stylist Lindsey Nowak of The Edit Collective—both friends and cohorts of Celeste’s—couldn’t help but notice her gorgeous light blue ring. The conflict-free aquamarine and diamond engagement ring was just the spark that led the friends to team up for a monochromatic, fashion-forward boudoir photo shoot for Celeste. Lindsey determined the all-blue room at the John Rutledge House Inn to be the perfect location and sourced a flowing silk organza and tulle Elizabeth Dye gown to match. Megan Chandler of Vero Designs created a dreamy floral installation using delicately painted limelight hydrangeas and a bouquet of feathery Stipa pennata grass dyed pale blue. The result, says Rhett, turned out far better than anything on her storyboard. Celeste notes that her fiancé, was “thrilled when he found out that the ring he picked inspired a shoot.” Indeed, he chose a winner.
