Garden Party Glam | A pair of College of Charleston grads return to the Holy City for a garden party wedding steeped in vintage glamour

Lily Hughes & John Ohrenberger

October 26, 2013

Governor Thomas Bennett House

After donning mint-blue pumps and a birdcage veil, Atlanta resident Lily Hughes swapped vows with her College of Charleston sweetheart, John Ohrenberger, at the Governor Thomas Bennett House, where Loluma brought to life a world of enchantment with vintage-inspired seating spaces and hanging florals in deep purples, shades of green, and ivory. Complementing the secret garden setting, Lily’s bridesmaids sported storm-gray lace shorties while “bridesman” Will made quite the statement with his checkered tie and burlap-wrapped boutonniere. Following a thrilling throwdown night on the dance floor, Carolina Photosmith snapped Lily and her new hubs bolting through a sparkler send-off and making their way to an after-party where they continued celebrating until the wee hours.
