Katie & Gil | Founders Hall

Katie and Gil are just too cool. For starters, just look at their Big Day ensembles. Him, a burgundy suit and floral button-down shirt for their September wedding at Founders Hall and her, a beyond stunning Rue de Seine wedding gown (her first check off the old wedding list, didn’t you know?) and epic floral tatoo. And, to add to their chic style, the two who met in-person in Charleston after flirting for weeks via Twitter, got engaged after dating for seven years, just moments before jumping out of a plane, while skydiving for Katie’s birthday. “He had been nervous all day but I thought it was because we were about to jump out of a plane! It was so much fun and I was completely shocked about the proposal,” Katie says of that memorable day. Their wedding was just as colorful as Katie, her planner, and her florist went for a little something different in their ultra-bohemian vibe with punchy florals, velvet VIP seating for guests in the front row, and a decadent doughnut bar at their reception that’s making us hungry just typing about it. Wait until you see all the pretty from His and Hers Creative … every image is spectacular. And a big congrats to the newlyweds, who jetted off to Mexico for a honeymoon!
