While out cruising with friends in 2014, registered nurse Drew’s boat broke down in the middle of the Charleston Harbor. To the rescue came none other than Jared, who was boating in the same area. Little did they know, the chance encounter would lead to something more. Three years later, Jared, a senior mechanical estimator, proposed on the back porch of their James Island home. The couple married at Second Presbyterian Church and received guests at the Governor Thomas Bennett house before jetting off to Bali for two weeks.
