Kathleen Hay & Andrew Hagood

October 15, 2016

Kathleen and Andrew grew up a few houses down from each other on Broad Street, but the two didn’t connect until 2014, when Kathleen returned to Charleston following a three-and-a-half-year stint in New York. Andrew asked her to dinner, and their relationship took off, much to the delight of their already-close families. On Thanksgiving morning two years later, Andrew, who was supposed to be with his family in the country, surprised Kathleen by showing up on her front steps with a ring. The wedding was held at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist with a reception following at the Hay family residence. The couple honeymooned on the Amalfi Coast before returning to their home in Wagener Terrace.
