Brittany & Kyle | Boone Hall Plantation

Dating etiquette has told us that guys should make the first move, right? Well, in the case of Brittany and Kyle, she was the one that made the first official move and we couldn’t be any prouder. The duo met in the summer of 2016 and after a random game of pool (Brittany was casually playing with her sister when Kyle and his friends asked to join in), she got up the courage to “friend” him on Facebook and it turns out that bold tap was worth it. Further proof Kyle was the man for Britt? After their first date, Brittany went on a trip to Europe and Kyle made sure to stay in touch with her everyday, even accounting for the time difference. Atta boy, Kyle. After two years of dating and a proposal on the beach, the duo set off on planning their Charleston wedding under the oaks. And while neither hail from the Holy City, their one-year dating anniversary trip to Charleston was what inspired them to get married here. “I couldn’t picture getting married anywhere else,” Brittany says. For their wedding at Boone Hall, they went for classic and timeless and man, did they nail that vibe. After marrying alfresco, Spanish moss as their witness, the newlyweds and guests sauntered inside the Cotton Dock for a gorgeous reception, dressed in a palette of blues and dusty greys. Pure perfection. And seeing that Brittany is a wedding photographer herself, we couldn’t imagine a more stunning Big Day.
