Hannah, then a student at the College of Charleston, was introduced to William, a cadet at The Citadel, through mutual friends, sharing a whirlwind summer romance. After they graduated, William proposed at their special place, the Morris Island Lighthouse, where the two had spent many evenings singing Michael Bublé songs. Hannah and William had a small Southern-themed wedding at the Creek Club at I’On, complete with oyster shell centerpieces, Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, Charleston Chewies, palmetto roses, and a cigar-rolling station.
