Voice actor Shannon met her future husband, Charles, the director of Charleston Music Hall, when she interviewed for an internship at the venue. After a brief stint in Chicago, she returned to Charleston and reconnected with Charles during a chance encounter at The Bend. Following a blossoming romance, Charles proposed in the Azores where they were celebrating Shannon’s 30th birthday. The couple, who live in West Ashley, were married by a friend at the historical George Peabody Library in Baltimore, the bride’s hometown, holding a romantic reception with loved ones.
