Charleston transplants Luke and Sarah went on their first date at Red’s Ice House on Shem Creek after matching on Bumble. The pair immediately hit it off, sharing a love of God, cooking, and exploring the Lowcountry. After spending Thanksgiving 2020 with her family in Alpharetta, Georgia, Luke asked Sarah to marry him while out seeing Christmas lights. The pair read private love letters written to each other before being wed by a family friend at the Creek Club at I’On overlooking the marsh. A special gluten-free wedding cake from Flowerchild Desserts was prepared for the reception, where a DJ spun tunes for guests.
