Brandon, owner of sauce company Chipper Dog BBQ, met MUSC oncology nurse Laura online, and the two played Putt-Putt in Mount Pleasant for their first date. The next 13 months were filled with cross-country road trips and enjoying the culinary scene. Brandon proposed on Thanksgiving morning in 2021 with breakfast in bed while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade at home in Byrnes Downs. They were married at St. Luke’s Chapel, before moving to a private club downtown for their reception.
