Jenny’s sister had told her stories about Nolan for nearly a decade before she finally arranged a surprise meeting in December 2017. Thinking she was having dinner with only her sister, Jenny wore a silly, oversized reindeer sweater—yet Nolan was smitten. Three months after their first date, Jenny started writing stories and letters to Nolan in a journal, hoping one day he would propose. One night, on their way to dinner at Halls Chophouse, Nolan stopped at the couple’s favorite fishing spot and surprised Jenny by pulling out a ring. The two celebrated with a sunny wedding and reception at the Creek Club at I’On in Mount Pleasant.
