After saying “Yes” to George’s proposal, Deajsha blurted, “We are getting married in Charleston!” (The Asheville, North Carolina, residents’ love of the Lowcountry spurred from a trip here during their two-and-a-half-year courtship.) The couple, who attended the same high school but first met after graduation, encountered a few road bumps while planning—their original venue closed four months before the Big Day and their DJ bowed out the night before their ceremony—but all’s well that ends well. After getting ready at The Vendue, they joined guests for a charming wedding at Merchants Hall. They are saving for a honeymoon in Santorini, Greece.
