David, who owns a trucking company, and Nickole, a nurse, met when their respective sons played on the same youth football team. They spent their first date walking around Charleston admiring Christmas lights and felt an instant connection. The following year, David set up a Thanksgiving family photo shoot and got down on one knee, proposing in between pictures. The pair exchanged vows at Founders Hall at Charles Towne Landing and exited the ceremony to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.” The family now lives in Ladson.
