Maggie Renfroe and Jay Reeves maximized wedding day joy by not sweating the small stuff. “Leading up to it, Jay and I told each other, ‘We will be leaving married, and that’s the most important thing!’” At their Cigar Factory reception, the atmosphere was amplified with bright color and memorable design elements.
Between Maggie’s family and former nanny jobs, seven flower girls (six pictured here) participated in the wedding—the more, the merrier!
The couple wed beneath the stained glass of Second Presbyterian Church.
Maggie donned her mother’s wedding dress, reworked by designer Emily Kotarski, and carried a lively bouquet by Canaan Marshall.
The bridesmaids’ lavender frocks inspired the wedding palette.
Maggie’s dad, in the billboard business, was the source of the custom billboard vinyl that dressed the walls of The Cedar Room which the couple set with lounge seating areas in lieu of tables and chairs.
Globe lighting and climbing flora filled the reception space.
Embodying summer, edible wafer-paper butterflies graced Aperol spritzes and also made an appearance on the welcome wall.
After tasting the wedding cake adorned in blue blooms by ABCD, the couple toasted with Estelle Colored Glass purple coupes.
