Sarah Benderson and Mark Balsom’s families have known each other for decades, which made their Kiawah Island nuptials something of a homecoming. “When we were making our guest list, there was so much overlap! It never felt like there were sides,” Sarah says. Planner Ellen Robinson of WED helped the couple select decor that felt soft, modern, and organic—a well-suited aesthetic for Kiawah’s illustrious Ocean Course.
