The Inn at Montage Palmetto Bluff was just one lodging option for the majority of the guests who stayed on the resort grounds. As for the big turnout, “It doesn’t hurt that people usually hate making New Year’s Eve plans and totally supported our idea!” says Alexa.
Charleston stationer Dodeline Design crafted an elaborate trifold invitation suite with a custom monogram, a weekend program, and more.
Candlelight played a major role throughout the wedding, casting one and all in a flattering, warm glow.
Bridesmaids wore to-the-floor Alfred Sung gowns in ebony.
Recognize this setting? Alexa and William beat the Biebers (that’s Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin), who wed at Montage Palmetto Bluff nine months later.
The resort is dog-friendly, so both Hendrix (the border collie, and the couple’s “fur nephew”) and Sullivan, Alexa and William’s three-and-a-half-year-old French Bulldog, were welcome.
Given that the bride’s family loves black and white everything, given the groom’s a fan of the Saints, and given that New Year’s Eve pretty much equals black, white and gold, Alexa went with that formal color scheme to dress the couple’s Big Day.
