Laura and Kenny’s “summer fling” started when they met at a pool party in Charleston. While she finished her studies at the University of South Carolina, Kenny moved to Parris Island, and later Hawaii, for the Marine Corps. After three years of long-distance dating and countless hours on FaceTime, Laura joined Kenny in Hawaii in 2020, where they got engaged at the picturesque Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden. The pair were wed under the live oaks of The Island House on John’s Island, dancing the night away with their friends and family to The Mighty Kicks.
