Watch out, Lowcountry, there’s a new wedding venue down the road. Previously a private home, Coosaw Plantation sits just outside Beaufort, making it a short (and scenic) drive from Charleston. And as you can tell from this styled inspiration shoot, it has everything a couple craves in a Lowcountry wedding. River view? Check. Palmettos? Check. An oak-lined drive complete with Spanish moss? Check and check. For this faux wedding, designer Ashley Burke-King at Cobblestone Convivial went for a yellow, light pink, and powder blue palette that cropped up everywhere from the feather bow ties by Brackish Bow Ties to the colorful bouquets (complete with dune grass and oyster shells) by Pretty Petals of Charleston. We think it mixes perfectly with the natural aspects of the venue, and we can’t wait to see the personal touches that future brides put on this “new” historic venue.
