Jessica Cafice & Denis Sulce

July 4, 2015

While both were in school at Coastal Carolina University, New Jersey native Jessica Cafice and Denis Sulce, who hails from Albania, waited tables together at a Myrtle Beach steakhouse. After getting to know one another during shifts at the restaurant, the pair began dating and soon fell in love. Close to two years later, while the couple celebrated the Fourth of July with both sets of their parents, Denis popped the question along the shore of Myrtle Beach—the city where their love story began. Jessica says she almost didn’t let Denis finish before shouting an ecstatic “Yes!” as fireworks lit up the sky overhead. A few weeks later, the betrothed couple jetted off to Tirana, Albania, to announce their engagement in Denis’s hometown and to snap dreamy portraits at the country’s Berat Castle. The West Ashley residents will wed September 4, 2016, in Myrtle Beach.
