Caitlin & Michael | The William Aiken House

Can we just say we love how Caitlin and Michael operate? The pair, who live outside Indianapolis, Indiana, wed on a Sunday last summer with a handful of family and little ones in tow at The William Aiken House. Judging from these evocative shots by Anne Rhett, the day was the ideal blend of ceremony and clean, classic trappings from Ooh! Events and yielded an intimate celebration that was equal parts sacred and stylish. With the color of the day (a nod to their now-shared last name) subtly running through everything from the landscape to the flower girl dresses, Caitlin’s velvet heels, and the bow ties donned by Michael and the ring bearers—not to mention that emerald-hued leash on their fur baby—the sentiments of the day were able to take center stage in the most charming way. Take a peek to see what we mean, and to see how pared back can be perfection. And? Join us in wishing the couple congrats—they’re expecting a baby boy this April!
