On a rainy December day in 2022, Robert dropped to one knee surrounded by flowers and Champagne in the couple’s living room in their downtown Charleston home. The two were wed at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church, moving to Hibernian Hall for dinner, dancing, and cake.
