Stefan and Julia met at the College of Charleston, where he sailed and she ran track and field, and dated for the next four years. In 2019, while visiting his grandmother in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Stefan took Julia to the beach and proposed at sunset. The pair postponed their formal ceremony but were wed by their pastor in Hampton Park, celebrating afterward by sharing a pizza atop Julia’s Jeep Wrangler while looking at the Battery. About a year later, the couple renewed their vows in the presence of family and friends at Lowndes Grove.
