Jital was working for a women’s apparel company in Hanoi, Vietnam, when she matched with visiting F&B entrepreneur Jeremy on Bumble. The two maintained a long-distance relationship between New York City and Vietnam and settled in Charleston in 2020, where they opened Indo-Caribbean restaurant Coterie that December.
