Charleston native Evelyn met Coeltryn in the art department at Flagler College during their senior year. The two immediately hit it off, sharing a strong love of faith, family, and the coast. In fact, the ocean served as the backdrop for Coeltryn’s proposal to Evelyn while on vacation in North Carolina’s Outer Banks, her family watching via FaceTime. The pair were wed at John’s Island’s Creekside on the Abbapoola in a breezy, sunlit ceremony complete with a string trio playing beneath the trees, dolphins swimming by, and a sparkler send-off to a romantic moonlight boat ride.
