Local interior designer Caroline met Christopher in the middle of COVID, sharing a walk on Sullivan’s Island for their first outing. They dated for two years, during which they enjoyed boating with their Goldendoodle Alfred and white Lab Banks, cooking together, and playing backgammon. Christopher asked Caroline to marry him on the couple’s boat while they were hanging out with friends off the shore of Kiawah Island. Their wedding was held at the Chattooga Club in Cashiers, North Carolina, with clovers and pennies, special symbols for the couple, incorporated into the dance floor and Christopher’s cufflinks.
