Petal Power

Petal Power | From bridal gowns to exit frocks, after-party dresses, and more, here’s what you’ll want this spring

Talk about a fun shoot! Rarely have we had more fun on a set than we did shooting this fashion story at the historic Lance Hall, the 1856 columned event space at Circular Congregation Church on Meeting Street downtown. (Check it out; it’s one of the best, most secret of Charleston wedding and reception venues.)

Orchestrated by Reagan Barnes of Events by Reagan and colored by the crazy-vibrant floral stylings of Wimberly Fair Designs, the shoot is one we know you’re going to get ideas aplenty from, even beyond the looks. Take that chair setup: How great (and simple) would that be for a selfie station at your shower? And the petal party above: That vignette would rival that of any reception photobooth we’ve ever seen. (Find the wallpaper backdrop at Anthropologie.)

Last, we’d be remiss without introducing you to our model, Briana Glaspy. Not only does she know how to win over a shoot, she also happens to be an ER nurse, mother of four, and married to her high school sweetheart. Talk about #goals. Happy spring, everyone!
