Styled Shoot | 5Church

Today’s styled shoot takes place on the patio of 5Church, a downtown church-turned-restaurant that doubles as a wedding venue. Nicki Paige, owner of wedding planning company Nicki Paige Collection, chose to showcase the venue’s outdoor space as a place for intimate weddings and elopements. “I wanted the attire to be relaxed and subtle, more elopement style than ballgown look,” says Nicki, talking about her fashion picks. The idea of creating a Tuscan feel for the shoot came from the venue itself (check out that gorgeous greenery in those rustic wall boxes). Using such existing features as a jumping off point, Nicki added accents of gold, copper, and deep, fruity colors to create a fall mood that we’re loving. Check out that table runner of citrus in lieu of flowers; it’s so unique, yet if you switched out the fruit picks it could be incorporated into any color scheme. And if you love this look but are planning something bigger than an elopement, don’t fret—other areas of the restaurant can be rented out for larger events, too.
