Morgan and McKenna started off as friends after meeting one summer at R.B.’s Seafood Restaurant on Shem Creek. Their platonic relationship eventually became romantic, but only eight months later, McKenna traveled to Vietnam for a year to teach English. Upon his return in May 2016, McKenna surprised Morgan with a sunrise sail and proposal. The two eloped in Canada,
then traveled across Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines for their honeymoon, ending the
trip with a month-long yoga retreat in Bali.
