When Melissa got hit with a parking ticket in front of Michael’s house in college, she boldly asked to park in his driveway for the rest of the semester and the pair haven’t stopped talking since. Following a two-year courtship, they got engaged in front of the “Virginia Is For Lovers” state welcome sign while en route to New York, their home state, for Memorial Day 2015. The Charleston pair wed and celebrated at the Historic Rice Mill.
