And, to add to their chic style, the two who met in-person in Charleston after flirting for weeks via Twitter, got engaged after dating for seven years, just moments before jumping out of a plane, while skydiving for Katie’s birthday. “He had been nervous all day but I thought it was because we were about to jump out of a plane! It was so much fun and I was completely shocked about the proposal,” Katie says of that memorable day. Their wedding was just as colorful as Katie, her planner, and her florist went for a little something different in their ultra-bohemian vibe with punchy florals, velvet VIP seating for guests in the front row, and a decadent doughnut bar at their reception that’s making us hungry just typing about it.
