Brian and Maura met at Poe’s on Sullivan’s Island in 2012. The Mount Pleasant couple dated for two years before Brian popped the question during a hike in Sequoia National Park in California, surprising Maura with a ring he made himself with cherry wood (he’s a carpenter).
