Romance struck when Richmond, Virginia, born Brad and Charlotte, North Carolina, native Jennifer were introduced by mutual friends in 2007. After six years of dating, Brad proposed as the sun set one evening during a relaxing Labor Day weekend getaway to Newport, Rhode Island.
