Set up on a blind date by his twin sister, writer Ben was smitten by graphic designer Sarah after the pair talked for hours at Kudu Coffee. In October 2021, after the couple spent the morning surfing on Folly Beach, Ben asked Sarah to marry him while strolling the beach on Sullivan’s Island. Their ceremony, held in St. Philip’s Church, was followed by a reception in the courtyard with a candlelit, family-style meal made from locally sourced ingredients.
