Though Roxie and Alex met five years ago, they hit it off at Red’s Ice House two years later. Alex soon left for basic training, so Roxie wrote him a letter each of the 72 days he was gone. Once he returned, the two knew they were soulmates. On Alex’s birthday, the couple took a trip to Greenville and hiked up to Pretty Place chapel. Alex dropped to one knee at the summit.
