Maura and Rob met while at the University of Georgia but didn’t start dating until five years later when Rob was stationed at the Air Force base in Charleston. While on a weekend getaway to Asheville for Maura’s birthday three years later, Rob popped the question on a summit overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. The couple exchanged vows at Wingate Plantation on John’s Island.
