Lauren Zajac & Tripp Hydrick

September 24, 2022
Mount Pleasant native Tripp met Lauren on dating app Bumble in 2021, and they spent as much time as possible hunting for shark teeth and boating. After dating for a year and a half, Tripp popped the question while on vacation in Mexico. The bohemian-inspired wedding was held on Goldbug Island, where they first said, “I love you.” During the ceremony, they read letters to each other by the water to the applause of passing boaters. A rocking party followed as guests danced, enjoyed an impromptu game of limbo, and sent Lauren and Tripp off with a cascade of bubbles.
