Jenessa and Kevin met at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as classmates in an air traffic control program and moved to Naples, Florida, together after graduation. During Christmas 2020 while on a trip to the the Lowcountry, Kevin asked Jenessa to marry him under the twinkling lights at The Charleston Place. The following August, the two moved into a home in North Charleston.
