Allison and Jeff were set up by mutual friends via text message. Six weeks later, she flew from Alabama to Chicago to meet him in person. Almost two years later, they were living in the Windy City together and out on their annual “Christmas Adventure” (drinks at The Drake hotel, ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo, etc.) when he popped the question.
