Both from Charleston, Jason and Lauren met through mutual friends in early 2020, sharing a first dinner date at Zero Restaurant + Bar downtown. In August 2021, the two traveled to Las Vegas for a weekend trip, where an eager Jason dropped to one knee as soon as the two checked into their hotel room. This summer, a private ceremony and reception were held at Cannon Green, incorporating the couple’s four children into the wedding party.
