Charleston native Grace met Ryan one December night in their campus library at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. The pair bonded while studying abroad in England and Scotland and officially started dating in June 2018. Two years later, Ryan surprised Grace at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, riding in on a horse and asking for her hand in marriage. The two were wed at First Baptist Church of Charleston and departed in a 1948 Oldsmobile convertible.
