Devon Yawney & Sarah Kay

December 5, 2020

Penelope Design Studio owner and designer Sarah met Devon, who runs several Charleston-area restaurants, through a mutual friend while he was visiting Sullivan’s Island. The pair immediately bonded, dating long-distance for two years until Devon moved to Charleston from Philadelphia. He surprised Sarah with a heartfelt dinnertime proposal at their James Island home. The couple held a small wedding at Leon’s Oyster Shed and plan to host a celebratory bash with an expanded guest list this November.
