Ten months later, Dena was carrying a load of laundry up to her third-story apartment when she was greeted by Drew, who held a “Will you marry me?” sign while kneeling alongside their tuxedo-and-top-hat-clad dog, Charlie Brown. The couple tied the knot at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, and celebrated with, among other things, a cake of stacked cheese wheels.
