Though Daniella and Mac, both South Carolina natives, attended Wofford College at the same time, they didn’t meet until post-graduation in the Holy City when Mac was in town on vacation. The two began a long distance relationship and eventually settled in Charleston. During a birthday staycation celebration for Daniella, Mac proposed at The Dewberry, and the couple celebrated with a cocktail at the Citrus Club rooftop bar. They held their ceremony and brunch reception at the Gadsden House and had a sparkler send-off as they dashed to the getaway vehicle, their 1972 Ford named ”Virginia.”
