In September 2021, a fire destroyed the Mount Pleasant home the pair shared with their three children, forcing them to postpone their wedding. Despite Hurricane Nicole hitting the same day as their rescheduled nuptials, the venue moved to the Safe Harbor Bristol clubhouse, where the couple finally said their “I dos.”
